The sea food snack stand is situated at Halifax Harbour. A beautiful port there with lots of tourist.
I was tryinig to get the famous lobster roll in Halifax but it was sold out, so I ordered deep fried clams without fries.
The clams were large even after deep fried, however I was giving too high expectation that it didn't has the fresh clam
tastes which disappoint me alot. Sort of like just chew clam meat without taste.

My first experience of lobster roll. The portion is generous. Comes with thinly cut PEI fries. Definitely a classic combo you can't miss with both local specialties in the same box
Very creative using different kind of dip and using tempura batter, but this definitely loses lobster roll's traditional taste. The prices of this lobster roll combo is a bit expensive for street food snack
where you have to sit on a stool to eat. The staffs are friendly with good service !! I havn't had a chance to try there mussels which should be their specialties. Next time, I will try that.
btw, Flex Mussels has featured on New York Times.

It was frigging like 36c degrees on that day. After visited the beauiful Hopewell Rocks which situated at Bay of Fundy.
I was almost died of thirst. So I rushed to the own food and drink stand, "Low Tide Cafe" and orded a chocolate coffee slush. ahhhh .
The best slush I've ever had. Because mostly of the heat. Haha. Being fair, it actually cost cheaper, taste stronger and more "slushy"(icy) than the
fxxking Tim Horton's Ice Cappucino which costs like almost $3 with an extra flavoured added that your taste bud don't even noticed of. And thanks for the Timmy
s responsible staff and ice cappuccino machine. They always can serve me a half slushy, half watery guarantee no matter which Tim Horton's I go in Canada. Probably Tim Horton's ensure its franchisees have the same quality standard. lol. I would give 3 and 3 for Timmy's water cold ice cap if I have to rate it.

Price: $2.50 CDN

| Description: |
My friends and I were traveling to Kitchener's area for a German smoked pig hock dinner. We visited the St. Jacob country and St Jacob's Market nearby.
In a blink of an eye, I saw one of my favorite street food, "Hollandse nieuwe", "Matjes", "maatjesharing", or just simply called its English name "herring".
No matter what my first reaction was got to have one definitely. Haven't have it for like more than 5 years. Although it isn't that fresh since it only shipped to
Canada once a year at late May as the owner told me. I guess she might be the only matjes seller in Ontario. Unfortunately her store is at Alymer which is near London.
I don't think I will drive 2 hours for a raw fish.

Canada most famous with representative is Beaver Tail. It is a fried dough in a flat and long oval shape
which looks similiar to a Beaver's Tail. The sugar coated fried dough pastry has several common toppings include Cinnamon Sugar,
Cinnamon Apple (sauce), Maple, Chocolate, Lemon, and many more variations. It serves hot after it got deep fried. Although the beaver tail does represent one of
Canada's street food, it isn't always easy to find a place to sell Beaver Tail. Most of the beaver tail stores are in Quebec province, for enjoying
this special Canadian treat else where, you probably have to search them at some fairs, festivals, and special events.
