Description:

Chuck, here are some pictures of our trip. 1)The first one is of one of the stands/tents that cooked food. I had taken a few others, but there were always people in the way. This is the best shot. This is in Helsinki. 2)Here's a picture from a distance of all the tents at the outdoor market. 3)The market is in the center of this photo, but it's so small you can hardly see it. It shows you that it's right on the waterfront.

Streetfood: Fried Salmon, grilled fish, fried potato, fried tomato
Location: Joensuu

Taste: 9 Come-Back: 9

----------------------------------------------------

City: Joensuu
Country: Finland
Price: 5 euro for the fried fish and 9 euro for the smoked Salmon

Temperature served: Warm
Served with:
Description:

There were served mostly fish on the marked, various kinds, like salmon, mackerel, herring and lot more that I dont remember. Unfortunately I dont remember which one we ate:-) I think it was herring... it was served warm, without anything. The price was 5 euros/portion. We didnt try anything else, but I know that the smoked salmon was the best looking and most expensive:-D It was about 9 euros. There was also possibility to buy some fried potatoes and fried vegetable and stuff like that. Taste: dont ask me:-) for me everything is great. Well, the fish we ate was definitely not the best choice, I believe that salmon must have been great-but we didnt want to spend so much money..anyway, now I regret that:-) But Come-Back is definitely high! like 9... And some description: These pictures were taken in Joensuu, a small town in eastern Finland. The fish market in Joensuu takes place only twice a year, I dont know about Helsinki, maybe its more common there. Fish is served mostly fried, smoked etc, only exceptionally raw. Everything looks nice, fresh and the whole market is so colourful! Its worth visiting;-)
